in sleep
sitting in a chair
holding a book
peeling away in layer's
hand
hesitant to touch
never mind turn
another page
become brittle
with age
whilst eyes
wander
seeing
other books
on table nearby
pausing
to ask the question
continuance
or time
for a new ride
