with studies learnt
friends met
voices over phone
online texts sent
funny things
sometimes said

so now

obligations met
before dreams
take me away
in twilit light

I like to walk
along path
at back of house
to sit upon log
quiet as a mouse

sun slip
from sky
there are no words
to describe
in my mind
this moment
which bathes my eyes
